Italy miss

Miss Italy is a beauty contest which elects each year more the beautiful woman of Italy.

Formerly called “Sorriso Miss”, the contest adopts in 1946 the current name Italia Miss and stabilizes her seat with Salsomaggiore Terme.

Miss Italy crosses the old ones without being concerned with criticisms Féministes; Moreover these criticisms do not affect the thousands of competitors which make use especially of this demonstration to make known itself general public. Indeed, of many candidates with Miss Italia, and often without being crowned Miss, succeed in boring the cinema world and of the spectacle. Among most famous, let us quote: Silvana Pampanini, Sophia Loren, Lucia Bump, Stefania Sandrelli, Simona Ventura and Martina Colombari.

Currently, the organization of Italy Miss is entrusted to Enzo Mirigliani, and since 1981, the SPOKE retransmet on line the event. In addition to the title of “Italy Miss”, the titles of “Miss Elegance” and “Misses Cinema” are also allotted in consolation prize. Another price is founded in 1991, named “Miss Italia nel mondo” reward more the Italian beautiful woman residing out of the peninsula.
