Italian Somalia

The Italian Somalia is a colony Italy of 1889 with 1941. In 1936, Italian Somalia belongs to the Italian African Empire, with the Libya, the Érythrée, and the Ethiopia. During the Second world war, as of 1941, the English occupy this area, which they leave at the end of 1949. The administration of the area is then entrusted temporarily by the the United Nations to Italy.

July first 1960, Italian Somalia becomes independent, and is linked at once with the Somaliland (ex- British Somalia) whose independence had been proclaimed the June 26th 1960, which creates the République of Somalia.
