Issam Naaman
Issam Naaman is a Politician Lebanon board.
Journalist, pro-Palestinian intellectual, it is elected appointed Druze of Beirut in 1992 on the list of the former Prime Minister Salim El-Hoss, of which it joined the Coterie of the National action.
Opposed to the economic policies of Rafiq Hariri, it east fails the legislative elections of 1996, but is appointed two years later Minister for Telecommunications, within the government directed by its ally, Salim El-Hoss. Its passage to this ministry will open the door at years of conflicts between the Lebanese State and the private companies in charge of mobile telephony.
It will not succeed in either being made elect in 2000, failing vis-a-vis Ghazi Aridi, supported by Rafiq Hariri and Walid Joumblatt.
It forms part today of the Forum of the National unit - the Third force, chaired by El-Hoss.
