Israel Gelfand

Israel Gelfand (in Russian: RU ИзраильМоисеевичГельфанд) (born in 1913 with Okny, Kherson in Ukraine, then in the Russian Empire) is a Mathématicien which works in analyzes functional, that it in the broad sense interprets like mathematical the “quantum mechanics” . He wrote many articles with Muscovite mathematicians. He held a seminar in Moscow. In 1990, it accepted a Visiteur post of professor Distinguished with the Université Rutgers in the New Jersey. It also for a long time is interested in the cellular Biologie.

It is known for many things, of which:
