Ispra

Ispra is a common of the Province of Varèse in Lombardy.
Ispra counts more than 4600 inhabitants and is located on the edges of the Lake Maggiore.
It shelters since the Sixties the common research center of the European commission, the Joint Research Center (JRC) or more commonly in English, the Joint Research Center (JRC).

History

Archaeological research gives a report on a human presence as of prehistory, of the vestiges whose dugout were found on the banks of the lake.

Taking into account the existence of the research center, the children of the expatriates can follow a schooling in their source language to the European school located at Varèse.
