Isopropanol

The isopropanol , or isopropanol is the common noun for the propan-2-ol, Composé chemical without color and flammable whose Chemical formula is C H 3CH (OH) - CH3.
Obtaining
It is obtained starting from the Acétone. Another manufactoring process consists of an indirect hydration of the Propylène by the sulphuric Acid with 70%, followed by a Hydrolyze which leads to the isopropanol.
Use
The trimmings of sterilization typically contain a solution of 72% of isopropanol diluted in the Eau. The isopropyl alcohol is also used like Décapant and Dissolvant in the Industrie. It is a grease-removing good. It is also employed like additive of the gasoline. It is employed like disinfecting (inert surface) and disinfectant (living tissue), and is a solvent commun run.
Precaution
The isopropanol is flammable and harmful. It must be maintained far from heat and of all flame. The symptoms of poisoning to the isopropanol result in headaches, Vertige S, mental depression, nausea S, Vomissement S, narcolepsy and Coma. It is advised to use it in quite ventilated places with protective gloves.
