Ismaël Mérindol
Ismaël Mérindol is a writer, author of the Traité of Faërie (1466).
Its life is known for us mainly by this work. It is known that it was born in a village from Provence, and that it died in Prague after having crossed the Europe in the search of supernatural phenomena.
In its book, he affirms to have met a dragon, to have had an adventure with a siren, and to have known in Prague a gnome which would have bequeathed to him a negligible part of its considerable knowledge.
