Isle (Vaud)
Isle is a common Suisse of the Canton of Vaud, located in the District of Cossonay.

Isle is crossed by the Venoge which takes its source there.
History
The village would have been founded in 1291 when the lord of Cossonay buys in Guy de Chabiez the ground of Festaz with all that is attached to it to build a city there.
Demonstrations
Each first weekend of September, proceeds the Foire with the Secondhand trade and Antiquities which gathers more than 100 merchants and some: 15000 visitors within the framework of the Castle of Isle. This fair is considered - by the professionals and the visitors - as one of most beautiful of French-speaking Switzerland .
