Island of Muir
The Île of Muir is an imaginary place pertaining to the universe of the Comic book S Marvel and supposed to be located on the Scandinavian coast of the Scotland.
Dr. Moired MacTaggert, allied X-Men and Professor Xavier bases on the Island a genetic research center in , in the original intention deal with his/her son Kevin (Proteus), powerful and dangerous mutant. The place will also be used of general headquarter to the members of the team Excalibur and, occasionally, as place of detention for mutants.
The Island is the regular theater of confrontations between mutants.
