Islamic front of the Hello
The Islamic front of the hello was a political training Algérie militant for the creation of an Islamic State . It was dissolved in March 1992 by the administrative court of Algiers.
History
Initially confined in certain academic world, the Islamic movement works out a strategy with like corollary, the conquest of the capacity and the introduction of an Islamic State. With this intention, it had recourse to actions of benevolence and fight against the poverty and other faintnesses of the company. Founded on February 18th, 1989 in mosque Al-Sunna of Bab el Oued to Algiers by Abassi Madani, and approved on September 6th of the same year by the ministry for the Interior.
At the time of the local elections of 1990, first free elections in Algeria, DID it had gained 953 communes over 1539 and 32 Wilaya S (provinces) over 48. December 26th, 1991 took place the first turn of the legislative elections. MADE obtains 188 seats out of 231, that is to say nearly 82%, FFS 25 seats and FLN 15 seats, the independent candidates gain 3 seats. Taking note of the situation which prevailed, and which was likely to turn to its disadvantage, the army decides on January 11th, 1992 to push the Head of the State, the president Chadli Bendjedid with the resignation and to stop the electoral process. The communal and departmental assemblies directed by the elected officials of MADE are in addition dissolved and the militants and sympathizers of the formation which has just gained the first turn of the legislative ballot are imprisoned or dispatched in camps established in the Saharan south.
Whereas multiply the legal extra executions, the sympathizers of MADE engage little by little in an armed struggle against the State. In this context, many civil personalities (intellectuals, artists, journalists) will be assassinated under mysterious conditions. Since then, of convergent testimonys emanating in particular from members of the secret services of the Algerian army established that a great number of these assassinations had been made by the dispensaries of the army which had gradually taken the control of the islamist groups or even if had been substituted there. This strategy aimed to discredit the islamist opposition inside as on the international scene and to move on the strictly sedentary ground a fight which the capacity knew lost on the electoral and political ground.
In its Chronic book “of the years of blood” (Paris Denoël 2003 page 94) Mohamed Samraoui, ex high ranking official of the secret services of the Algerian army, restores a set of essential factual data. It reveals initially that since 1991, before even the appearance of the first “Armed Islamic Groups”, the leaders of the “Islamic Movement armed” (MIA, the first expression armed with the islamist current), after being amnestied, transfer themselves equipped by the secret services with the army with “vehicles with services”. Later, “the first islamist leaflets calling with the conquest of the capacity by the weapons”, specifies it then, “left in fact the Antar barracks Ben-Aknoun, sits of the principal Center of operations (CPO)… As for famous the " lists noires" intellectuals to be cut down allotted to islamist, they had been elaborate in the Ghermoul Center, seat of the Management of against-espionage (DCE). They are the captains Omar Merabet, Saïd Lerari (known as Saoud) and Azzedine Aouis, which wrote these leaflets, that the elements of the " section of protection" and the drivers of the DCE slipped into the letter-boxes of the interested parties. ” For Samraoui, since the beginning the civil war, the majority of the “emirs of the GIA” were in fact only scarecrows with the hands of the services.
During the year 1997, the principal founder and directing MADE Abassi Madani, was slackened, and put under house arrest, officially it was to call the former partisans of MADE deposit the weapons. A few months after its coming out of prison, a compromising letter was discovered and in which Ali Belhadj called GIA and the BOARD to continue their Djihad (fight) until the introduction of an islamist State. A letter whose its origin and its contents remain to be proven. It is on the basis of this futile proof that he was again imprisoned. The BOARD was charged, during these years to defend the insolated villages against the GIA, of the villages given up by the regular army. Media, as well Western as Algerian, will omit to speak about these many combat in the mountains between the BOARD and the GIA. In 1999, one counted nothing any more but 600 terrorists of the GIA. These terrorist, foreign groups with the Algerian people, disappeared gradually in the last few years. The partisans of MADE, the BOARD, profited from a presidential amnesty following the law on the civil concord suggested by president Abdelaziz Bouteflika. This will of the capacity to reconcile itself with MADE, puts the question of the culpability of this party as for this decade of massacres of civilians.
The former minister for the state education of the time of Houari Boumediene, Ahmed Taleb Ibrahimi, fervent supporter of MADE, will try into 2000 to recreate the Islamic party, but in vain.
In July 2003, Sheik Abassi Madani and Ali Belhadj are released under the presidency of Abdelaziz Bouteflika. Their influence, without however improving with the policy, is heavy and certain laws harden from their official exit. Indeed, a law was voted a few months after the exit of Ali Belhaj, concerning formal prohibition to import alcohol on the Algerian territory. Currently Ali Belhaj is struck of a prohibition of exit of the territory, even of the capital. Abassi Madani proceeded to several voyages, in particular in Indonesia, Malaysia and with the Qatar where it was neat. He currently lives in England.
