Islamic commission of Spain
The Islamic Commission of Spain (in Spanish: Comisión Islámica de España ) is legitimates it body representative of the Islam and the Moslems in front of the citizenship and the Administration for the representation, negotiation, signature and followed Islam agreements - State adopted in Law 26/1992. The Islamic Commission of Spain meets periodically with representatives of the Administration in the Joint industrial commission; in addition to the communications of the economic situation with the ministry for the Presidency on the legislative initiatives, and with the Head office of the Religious affairs of the ministry for Justice.
Historical summary
At 1967 one promulgates in Spain the first law which makes it possible to the Moslems to be organized, after a bracket of centuries, while constituting at 1968 the first Muslim association with Melilla, of local nature, and at 1971, of national field with central seat in Madrid, Muslim association in Spain (AME). After current Constitution one promulgates the Organic law of Religious liberty, maintaining in force, and one constitutes the Union of Islamic communities of Spain (UCIDE), by also creating the Spanish Federation of Islamic religious companies (FEERI), while proceeding both to jointly constitute the Islamic Commission of Spain (Co), which is integrated in the Moslem Council of co-operation in Europe (CMCE), representative body in front of the European Union.
Representatives
The direction of the Co is occupied by the presidents of these two federations, UCIDE and FEERI:
- Vice-president (by the FEERI): Mr. Mohamed-Amin Herrero, vice-chancellor of Islamic Association Al-Andalusians of Malaga and his Province.
- President (by the UCIDE): lord Riaj Tatary, commander about the civil Merit, and vice-president of the CMCE.
