Isidore of Kiev

Isidore of Kiev (called Isidore the Apostate by its adversaries) is Métropolite of Moscow of 1437 with 1441. Whereas Constantinople was threatened by the Turks, it tried a reconciliation between the Catholic church and the orthodoxe Church, but was denounced by the other Russian bishops. It was also Doyen of the College of the cardinals.
