Isidore Taylor

Isidore Justin Severin Taylor, known as the Baron Taylor (August 5th 1789, Brussels - September 6th 1879, Paris) was a writer, precursor of the romantic movement , man of art and Philanthrope French.

His/her father Hélie Taylor (towards 1762 Great Britain Paris January 18th, 1830) was professor and naturalized French. His/her brother the Taylor general took part in the forwarding of Ireland in 1796.

His/her mother Marie-Jacqueline Walwein, born with Bruges is the girl of Charles Eugene-Jacques Walwein, adviser commercial and alderman of Bruges, governor of the circle of the city and adviser of Joseph II and Jeanne Of Chastelet. In 1847, he becomes member of the Institut of France and Sénat or in 1867. He is made large officer of the Légion of honor in 1877.

He was buried in a large vault with the Cimetière of the Father-Lachaise.

Its bust was set up on a stele on the Saint Martin's day boulevard (opposite number 17) close to the street which bears its name in the 10th district of Paris.
