Ishirō Honda

Ishirō Honda () (born the May 7th 1911 in Tsuruoka, Prefecture of Yamagata, dead the February 28th 1993 with Tōkyō) was a Réalisateur Japan board. It primarily carried out science fiction films of which series on Godzilla and Mothra . These films put in scene the marks and the traumatisms of Japan of post-war period (atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki). It is a precursor of the Tokusatsu .
