Ischio-leg muscle
The ischio-leg muscles are Muscle S of the Cuisse, they are Antagonistes Quadriceps. In fact muscles Polyarticulaire S go from the Hanche until the back of the tibia and of the Péroné
Action
The ischio-leg muscles are composed of several parts which have as a principal action to involve the Genou in Flection and the Fémur in Extension if the Os coxal is a fixed point.It has also as an action to take along the Genou in external rotation. It involves the Bassin in Rétroversion if the lower extremity is fixed.
Structure
They are composed of three parts which very originate in the Ischion which is located at the back of the bone coxal.-
the Muscle femoral biceps or long biceps ( biceps femoris captus longum ), which s´insère on l´ischion and finishes with the head of the fibula (it has a common Tendon with the Court biceps)
- the semi-membranous Muscle ( semi-mendinosus ), which s´insert on l´ischion and finishes with the back and on the internal part of the Plateau tibiale.
- the Muscle semi-tendineux ( semi-tendinosus ), which s´insert on l´ischion and finishes on the Patte of Goose
Innervation
ischiatic Nerve external Poplité (L5/S1)
