Isabelle of Naples

Isabelle of Naples , also called Isabelle d' Aragon because of its Hispanic ascent , born the October 2nd 1470 with Naples and died the February 11th 1524 with Bari, is noble a Italy which was not duchess of Milan.

Isabelle was the girl of the king de Naples Alphonse II (1448-1495), of the Dynastie of Trastamare, and Ippolita Maria Sforza (1446-1484), itself girl of François Sforza and thus aunt de Jean Galéas.

She married, the February 2nd 1489, her cousin, the duke of Milan Jean Galéas Sforza (1469-1494), to reinforce alliance between the Royaume of Naples and the Duché of Milan.

Her husband died, the October 22nd 1494, at the twenty-five years age, and the death was sotto voce allotted to the uncle of this last, Ludovic which continued to exert its government as a duke.

Descent

From its marriage, the February 2nd 1489, with Jean Galéas Sforza, were born:
  • Ippolita (1490-1501)
  • Francesco (1491-1512)
  • Bona (1494-1557) which married, on June 15th, 1518, the king Sigismond I {{er}} of Poland.
