Isabelle de Bourbon

Isabelle de Bourbon (born in 1437 - died the September 25th 1465) was the girl of Charles Ier de Bourbon, duke of Bourbon and Agnès of Burgundy.

The October 30th 1454, it married with Lille his/her cousin Charles Bold the, future duke of Burgundy.

This union was a happy union because Isabelle de Bourbon was a fort pretty woman and her husband fell in love from there and was faithful for him, rare attitude at the time and contrasting with the escapades of his/her father Philippe the Good.

His/her father-in-law besides has for it exceptional attentions by accepting for example of gracier one condemned to death, grace which he had refused with his own son!

From its union was born Marie from Burgundy

She died the September 25th 1465 of Tuberculose to the abbey Saint-Michel with Antwerp whereas she joined her daughter.
