Isabelle Duchesnay
Isabelle Duchesnay , born the December 18th 1963 with Aylmer (Quebec), is a artistic skater French. Although having been born and having grown in Canada, it represented the France in dance on ice with her brother Paul Duchesnay.
Afflicted of the policy of the Canadian Association of figure skating of the time and after disappointing a third place with the Canadian championships, those use of their double citizenship to represent the France.
Their choréographe was Christopher Dean, Olympic champion of 1984.
They became world champions in 1991. Big favorites of the Winter Olympics of 1992 with Albertville, they nevertheless were beaten by Klimova - Ponomarenko.
