Isabelle Boulay was born the July 6th 1972 with Holy-Happiness, small village of the peninsula Gaspésie, with the Quebec. They will be friends who will register it with the Festival of the song of Petite-Vallée in 1990. She will be a very great success there. She will take part then in the prestigious festival of the song of Granby, in Estrie, 1991 and it is by interpreting there “Amsterdam” Jacques Brel that she gains this contest. The same year, it will be invited to the Francofolies Montreal. In 1993, it gains the trophy of the French-speaking song, with Périgueux. In 1996, Isabelle lends her voice to the singer Alys Robi in the televised series of the same name, making known herself thus Québécois general public. Quickly located by Luc Plamondon, she will interpret then Marie-Jeanne in the rock opera Starmania during the same period. All that contributes obviously to its take-off in solo, as of 1996. Since, she knows one big hit as well in North America as in Europe.
