Irving Morrow

Irving Morrow (born in 1884, died in 1952) was a American Architecte , which was implied in the construction of the Golden Spoils Bridge San Fransisco. Joseph Strauss indeed called upon him in 1930 to deal with the architecture of sound Suspended bridge, whereas it until had carried out only terrestrial structures there. Morrow thus conceived the sculptures Art déco which decorate the bridge, and also made the choice of the famous orange color “international” which makes the bridge recognizable among all.
