Irvine (California)

Irvine is a city of the county of Orange in California whose population was of 152  048 in 2003. It is a planned city by the Irvine Company in the Années 1960. The city is a center under development of industries of the trade and technology. Several companies have there their head office, of which the American division of Toshiba, Archos, Blizzard Entertainment, and Broadcom. One can also quote of other companies like the offices of Ford and Mazda, the chains of Fast-food industry In-NR-Out Burger and Taco Bell. The first two employers of the city are the the University of California with Irvine and Verizon Wireless.

The city had a population of 164.900 inhabitants in 2000 and a surface of 120,4 km ².
