Irregular force Pommiès
The Irregular force Pommiès (C.F.P.) is founded on November 17th 1942 with the title of the Organization of resistance of the army in the South-western area by the " Chef" Andre Pommiès; it mainly consists of volunteers originating in the south-west of France, of which some soldiers of active or reserve, but also of some young Spanish volunteers.

from November 17th, 1942 to June 5th 1944: clandestinity and the maquis.
- on June 6th, the French Command of London gives the order to pass to the general insurrection; the few 3.000 combatants of the C.F.P. launch the guerilla against the German army; the general insurrection is launched under the authority of the Colonel RAVANEL , person in charge of South-west.
- Until August 1944, engagements for the Release.
- Of September 1944 to February 1945: Battle of the the Vosges and Alsace

on February 10th, 1945, after the regrouping in the area of Saulxures, Cornimont, the Irregular force Pommiès ceases living like unit F.F.I to become the 49ème R.I , old Regiment of Bayonne and for this reason to continue its epopee until in Germany.

on April 3rd, crossing of the Rhine, then walk on Stuttgart.
- the 4 avri, the 3rd battalion seizes the strategic city of Eppingen.
- From April 14th to 22nd, Battle of Stuttgart.
- on July 8th 1945, the Americans will raise the regiment which will leave Stuttgart.
- on May 8th 1946 the regiment will ravel with the Allies for the first birthday of found peace.
Groups
Agen
The Irregular force Pommiès had a battalion on Agen directed by Michel Ribourt. This battalion included/understood three companies, of which that of Fred Streiff for the south-eastern part of Agen. The company including/understanding the section Guichard and Mazeau will be confronted with dramatic events the shortly after the unloading to the castle of Laclotte, commune of Castelculier.
