Irouléguy is a common French, located in the department of the Yrénées-Atlantiques and the area Aquitaine.
Its name Basque is Irulegi .

The commune adheres to the Mixed trade-union of the contract of river of Nives.
Vineyard of Irouléguy
the smallest vineyard of France, largest of the Basque Country : thus was presented Irouléguy, the first AOC of the Basque Country which extends on only 183 ha. It failed to disappear in 1912 with the Phylloxera.The vineyard produces wines red, white and rosy on 15 communes:
Aincille, Anhaux, Ascarat, Bidarray, Bussunarits-Sarrasquette, Bustince-Iriberry, Irouléguy, Ispoure, Jaxu, Wearies, Lecumberry, Ossès, Saint-Etienne-with-Baïgorry, Saint-Jean-the-Old man and Saint-Martin-with Arrossa.
