Irmgard Sigg

Irmgard Sigg is a sculptor of German origin living in France.

Chronology

  • Born in 1934 with Bielefeld, Germany

  • 1962-1968 Studies of violin to the national Academy of Music of Paris.
  • Studies at the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the Art schools of Paris - Workshop Collamarini personal Exposures.
  • 1967 Exposes to the living room of the young sculpture in Paris.
  • 1973 First personal exposure to the Gallery Charley Knight, Paris.
  • 1977 It obtains the price of the living room of the Young sculpture. Edition of a sculpture by Crystal manufactures Daum.
  • 1979 It takes share with the Espasme group in Corbeil and Basle.
  • 1981 Gallery Darthea Speyer, Paris. It is invited to Biennial small sculpture with Budapest and to the “Places of imaginary” in Ivry on the Seine and Vitry on the Seine.
  • 1982 Price of the sculpture to the living room of Montrouge
  • 1983 Arts center of Villeparisis.
  • 1984 It takes part in the exposure " The share of the women in art contemporain" in Vitry on the Seine.
  • 1987 Exposure " Littoral" with and the test art gallery of the University of Rennes.
