Irene Tunc

Irene Tunc , actress, was born the September 25th 1935 with Lille (Northern, France) and she died the January 16th 1972 with Versailles (Yvelines, France) of a road accident.

Irene Tunc belonged to the 343 women who publicly stated to be themselves made fall through:

“ a million women are made fall through each year in France. They do it under dangerous conditions because of the clandestinity to which they are condemned whereas this operation, practiced under medical control, is simpler. One makes silence on this million women. I declare that I am one of them. I state to have fallen through. Just as we claim the free access to the contraceptive methods, we claim the free abortion. ”

She was elected Miss France in 1954, she then represented the province represented of Riviera and was nominated with Évian-the-Baths.
