Ireland in the World cup of Rugby 2007

The team of Ireland of Rugby to XV starts the World cup of Rugby 2007 with ambitions. It occupies one of the first six places of world classification. Brian O' Driscoll, Ronan O' Gara, Girvan Dempsey, Peter Stringer and the fronts Malcolm O' Kelly, Paul O' Connell, belong to this team which has in four years carried out three triple crowns. However it did not gain the tournament.

The September 9th 2007, the Irishmen beat the Namibia 32-17, without convincing. They beat thereafter the Georgia 14-10, before losing their illusions against the France and the Argentine to finish 3rd hen D and eliminated.
