Irakli Okrouachvili
Irakli Okrouachvili is a politician of Georgia.
Belonging, before the manifestations of the “pink revolution of 2003”, with the first circle of the president Mikheil Saakachvili, it had been named at the post of minister of Defense.
In November 2006, it had been isolated government after aggressive declarations asking the return in Georgia of the two separatist areas, the Abkhazie and the Ossétie of the South.
September 25th, 2007, he announces the creation of a new political party of opposition, the Mouvement for plain Georgia and shows the president Mikheil Saakachvili to have in the past ordered the murder of several “important and influential” personalities of which a known business man.
September 28th, 2007, Irakli Okrouachvili is stopped and shown “of extortion, money laundering, abuse of power and negligence when it was in function with the ministry for Defense”. Several thousands of demonstrators met before the Parliament with Tbilissi to denounce this arrest with the call of the opposition parties.
