Iracoubo

Iracoubo is a common French, located in the department of the Guyana.

One notes the presence in the borough of a classified church historic building which was entirely decorated by the convict Pierre Huguet, of the camp of Iracoubo. The fresco extends on 400m ² and the style is famous naîf.

The main resources of Iracoubo remain agriculture, fishing and hunting. A community Hmongs installed for with the Rococoua locality practices the truck farming there.

The sispas and the false note made by the creole community of Iracoubo are famous in Guyana.
