Iouri Aronovitch
Iouri Mikhaïlovitch Aronovitch (in; ), born the May 13rd 1932 with Leningrad (Soviet Union) and dead the October 31st 2002 with Cologne (Germany), is a Israeli Leader of Russian origin .
Aronovitch studies the music and the violin as of the four years age. With the Conservatory of Leningrad, he is the pupil of Natan Rakhline and Kurt Sanderling. In 1954, after obtaining its diploma of direction, he is the guest of the Soviet full orchestras of which the Philharmonic orchestra of Leningrad and the Orchestra of the Théâtre Bolchoï.
In 1964, it is named principal chief of the Symphony orchestra of the ministry for the Culture of the USSR, station which it occupies until his departure for Israel in 1972. Its career takes an international rise then. It directs or leaves in round with the melleurs European orchestras, the Symphony orchestra of London, the Symphony orchestra of Vienna, the Orchestra of the Scala of Milan inter alia, but also the Philharmonic orchestra of Israel or the Symphony orchestra Yomiuri of Japan (Tōkyō).
From 1975 to 1986, he is principal chief of the Orchestre of Gürzenich of Cologne and, of 1982 to 1987, occupies the same post office with the head of the royal Philharmonic orchestra of Stockholm.
In same time, Aronovitch does not neglect the lyric repertory. It occurs on the best scenes of opera, with London (Royal Opera House), Chicago (Lyric Opera off Chicago), Stockholm (royal Opéra of Stockholm), in Germany (Opéra of State of Bavaria to Munich, Opéra of Cologne) and in Italy.
In 1984, Aronovitch between with the royal Academy of music of Sweden and, in 1987, it receives king de Suède the badge of commander of the royal Ordre of Pole star. In Italy, the daily newspaper Stampa and the Université of Turin decree the price “Arca to him d' Oro 1991”.
It appears for the last time in public with the Orchestre of Paris in October 2002.
