- Claudine Bertrand (Canada): “The heading „Other texts “proposes a document of the Rumanian researcher Ion Pachia-Tatomirescu, specialist in the dadaïstes questions. It shows that this „new esthetics “found its point of anchoring in the Rumanian compost (1912 - 1916) before being recreated in Zurich. This historical discovery proves to be important for the comprehension of dadaism. It acts on the spirit of the town of Bucharest and powders it with absurdity and poetic plays” (Claudine Bertrand, Ion Pachia Tatomirescu…, in Mouvances Web-review - Quebec/Canada -, NR, 3 - 4,2006).
- Paul Courget (France): “One knows curiosity, concerning with all the problems, as well of a literary nature as historical or scientific, of the writer, researcher and Rumanian poet, of Timisoara, Ion Pachia Tatomirescu and the not very conventional and very personal manner that it has to approach them. That, also, of us to make some penetrate the substance without ceasing resorting to the originality. Born itself under the sign from water of Aquarius, it presents to us, today, its Aphorismes of Water , appeared in the Encyclopédicus Library of the Aethicus Editions. This book appears full with at the same time judicious, relevant and picturesque reports, concerning with the one of the four elements, and not of least. Ion Pachia Tatomirescu translates them into aphorisms often short and precise, as the kind requires it. They are based so much on the direct observation than on the recourse to intellectual materials of its knowledge, and also, for a good portion, on the lessons brought by the human, acquired or tested experiment. Even if it is known as some share: „Water is like the love… Beside a large fire It evaporates… “the reading of the book in its continuation is not less encouraging, since it brings us this declaration of the author: „That which knows the mysteries of Water like basic element Être, becomes the sovereign of the Universe “. What does one porrait to wish moreover gratifiant?” (in Rivista Internazionale di Letteratura / Re-examined International of Literature / International Review off Literature „Flowers of the Moon “ - Spezia/Italy, No April 15th, th and th 2000, p. 14).
- Jean-Claude George (Franţa), “the salme is the shortest fixed poetry of the history of the literature. The tripling of the salme (near to the haïkou) gives the trisalme . Translated of French Rumanian, then in English and German, the salmes of Ion Pachia Tatomirescu apply to their potential of evocation” (Jean-Claude George, Salmes d' Ion Pachia Tatomirescu , in the review Art and Poésie - France/Pagny on Meuse -, 44e year, No 177, January 2002, p. 67).
- Paul Van Miss (Belgium): “Here finally a tale. A truth. Better even: a legend. Rumanian, but published with an English translation which enabled me to take note of it. A legend where I find more known environment here Eddas , Kalevala , so not even of Nibelungen . This Conte of the Emperor in the Blue Mountains defers us to more than 2000 years from here, in the Empire of Daces, when the dragons still made the history and that the palates of the honest emperor Burebista (Buravista) took the form of will hora, the dance of Carpathes of Transylvania. Ion Pachia Tatomirescu tells like old the aèdes. ” (Paul Van Miss, With all the echoes , in New - monthly review of the Think tank and of Information Arts persons, Hulpe-Belgium, No 110, November, 1997, p. 23). “A certain “paradoxism” was known to us via Florentin Smarandache, who could not be taken with serious because incomprehensible. I spoke about it in our numbers 62 and 80 after having met the man in Bergerac. Here now, directly of Romania, a tapuscrit, the afternoon of the last paradoxist , who lights me better hundred times. It was a literary resistance movement coded. The author of this book, Ion Pachia Tatomirescu, without anything to explain, is finally clear and its talent, already felt (cf Inédit 110,112,123), is confirmed here in an original surrealism, a kind of perfectly obvious surrealism of protest for us. ” (Paul Van Miss, New , No 127/1999, p. 21). “paradoxism dates from years 65, reaction against the proletarian literatures, realistic-Socialists who then served the Marxist dictatorships of the East, but as well against dadaism or surrealism. It was in Romania, and courage was needed, but the writers were (see higher) constrained to mask themselves, and surrealism shows through despite everything in this movement, that Ion Pachia Tatomirescu and its friends called paradoxism. ” (Id., ibidem) . “The spherical collection Flash , beyond its paradoxism, is personal. One does not feel an influence and the images are strong. ” (Paul Van Miss, With all the echoes - foreigners if not very strange , in New , No 134, November, 1999, p. 21). “Ion Pachia Tatomirescu subjects a collection of Salmes poems to us is made only fixed-form poems of this name, more briefs still that the Japanese haïkou, because they are made of a trochee and tetrasyllabic. It is not easy to be accustomed to this rate/rhythm” (Paul Van Miss, With all the echoes , in Inédit , No 153, April, 2001, p. 28).
