Comments

  • the invaders recognize themselves thanks to a physical characteristic which prevents them from folding up their auricular. While dying, they ignite in a reddish halation and do not leave practically any trace.
  • the true appearance of the invaders is never shown. Their human form is unstable and they must be regenerated regularly without what they die. True appearance however is suggested in the episode 22 where " the ennemi" (it is the title of the episode) comes to install a base which will make it possible extraterrestrial to live in their original form in the presence of oxygen. The end of the episode sees the beginning of the regression of the body of an invader.

  • the series was parodied in a sketche of the Inconnus.

  • a telefilm, heading the Return of the invaders was carried out in 1995, with Roy Thinnes in the role of David Vincent, then become old man who passes the relay to Nolan Wood (played by Scott Bakula).

  • the group Christophe Godin 'S Metal Kartoon recorded a piece entitled " David Vincent" in homage to the series; it is told there that David Vincent decides to be combined to the invaders in order to be avenged for all these people who refuse to accept the extraterrestrial invasion.

  • the two seasons were published in three boxes DVD by Video TF1, on September 20th, 2007.
