Interport (its official name is Intersport International Corporation or IIC) is a company of Distribution of article of sport. The company is leader on this market with the international level. The company is number 2 on this market (1,05 billion euros and more than 500 sales outlets, approximately 12% of market share) behind Décathlon (2,7 billion euros of sales turnover in France, 31% of market share) and in front of the group Go Sport (9% of market share). On French market group is present with ensigns Intersport (store which proposes the whole of the offer present in periphery and downtown area of the big cities), Intersport Relais (set restricted for the small towns), Sport Leader (specialized in the famous brands is present in the centres town and great shopping malls) and Intersport Montagne (sale and hiring of products for the sports of mountain). The head office of Intersport France, which has the stores located at the Luxembourg, is majority in the capital of Intersport Belgium is located at Longjumeau. The French buying association finds its origin in 1924 when the association of the Scouts de France creates the Hut to diffuse the material and the uniforms of scout.
