The interregional Center of development of the occitan , or CIRDOC , is at the same time the media library of the Occitanie and the tool for promotion of the identity occitane. It is located at Béziers.

This data bases, single in the world in the occitan field, constitutes the only library exclusively devoted to a language and a regional culture. The purpose of this inheritance enriched in a permanent way, through a policy of acquisitions reinforced is to be an alive memory availability of all, general public, students, school, simple curious or researchers about the whole world.
