Internet Group Protocol Management
IGMP ( Internet Group Management Protocol ) is a protocol used to reach a group multicast IP. All hosts IP supporting the multicast must support IGMP. There are several versions which are the subject of many RFC.
Messages IGMP are encapsulated in datagrams IP, with a number of protocol IP of 2.
