LInternet Archive is an organization with nonlucrative goal devoted to the Archivage of the Web, founded by Brewster Kahle in 1996, and based in the Presidio of San Francisco. Beyond, the project is also used as numeric library.

Its collections include:

  • 87 billion filed versions ( Snapshot S ) of the World Wide Web and Usenet, is 67 million Web sites of 37 languages;
  • 100.000 Film S;
  • 200.000 recordings Audio S, including 45.000 Concert S;
  • 290.000 delivers S;
  • of the Software S.

Filing maintains also up to date the Wayback Machine (“machine to go up time”). The most consulted files are the 2.862 recordings of the Grateful Dead, part of Final Fantasy II gained in nearly four hours and to the headaches
