International path of the Appalachian Mountains

The international path of the Appalachian Mountains or SIA is a pedestrian course of Randonnée crossing the chain of the Appalachian Mountains to the Quebec and the the United States. The path begins in the Maine with the Kathadin mount until the Cape Gaspé in the National park Forillon with the point from the peninsula gaspésienne. It measures 4  547 km and prolong in north the American Appalachian path.

Course

The path starts in Gaspésie in the village of Matapédia. It continues towards Amqui then towards Matane where it crosses the faunal Réserve of Matane. Then, it joined the National park of Gaspésie to the Logan mount. It continues in the Monts Knack-Shock, with the Mont Albert and finally the Mont Jacques-Cartier. it finishes its race in the National park Forillon with the extremity of the point of Gaspé.
