International festival of science fiction film of Brussels

The International festival of science fiction film of Brussels was created in 1983.

The films in competition are films of horror, thrillers and films of Science-fiction. It is held with Brussels, the every years in March. Initially directed by Annie Bozzo, followed one another: Gigi Etienne, Freddy Bozzo, Georges Delmote and Guy Delmote.

The name of the festival varies much according to the sources and the translations. Official name being International Brussels Festival off Fantastic Film, only in English. The names of the international prizes are also only in English, except the price Méliès.

A dressed up ball (formerly called ball of the vampires) is also organized, during which an international contest of Bodypainting takes place.

A contest Cosplay is organized, it puts in competition fans disguised as hero of video games.
