International festival of French-speaking film of Namur

The festival of Namur organizes an official competition since 1989. This competition addresses to the feature-length films fiction, short films of fiction and documentary French-speaking.
Creator of the horse Bayard which defies the Meuse in Namur, the sculptor Olivier Strebelle carried out a reduction of his original work, Or Bayard, which rewards best French-speaking films. These rewards are matched price in cash. Bayards are allotted by the Jury Fiction, the Documentary Jury and the Jury Emile Cantillon.

  • Prix of the Public of the Town of Namur
    Véritable very favorite of the festival ones, which will be invited to give, at the end of each meeting, a note for viewed film.
    This price is offered to the realizer by the City for a help with the realization.
  • Price Movies & FX
    Given to the realizer, this price is intended to promote new technologies of the cinema in Wallonia, and more particularly the image processing numerically. This price must reward the film which succeeded, most judiciously, to benefit from new technologies of the digital image while thus contributing to its development. It will be offered to the realizer for a help with the post-production.

  • Price of best photography in the competition of the short films of the French Community of Belgium
  • Price LTI (Laser Tiltle Industry) for a Belgian short film
A Sous-titrage will be offered to the realizer.
  • Price of the Studio the Team for a Belgian short film
A price will be offered to the realizer for one day of mixing in Dolby SR.
  • Prix of the Jury Junior
    This price will be decreed with the realizer of the film very favorite of a jury made up of eight young Belgians of 13 and 14 years. It consists of a sculpture of the Namurian artist, Jean-Claude Simus.
