International federation of the translators
Presentation
The International federation of the translators (the FIT or International Federation off English Translators) was founded in Paris in 1953 per Pierre-François Caillé.
It federates associations of translators of the world entier.
In 1963, assembled in Congress in Dubrovnik, it adopted one of the translator ''', a text intended to guide the translator in the exercise of his profession (the text was modified in Oslo on July 9th, 1994).
