The emblem

The original emblem, a Red Cross on white zone, is derived from the Swiss flag (white cross on red bottom). The Companies of certain Moslem countries use a red crescent; however these emblems do not have a recognized religious value. In 2005, red diamond was officialized; it is for the time being used only by Israel.
