(extracted the official press release of end of living room - June 24th, 2007)

Edition 2007 (47e edition)

Dates: 18 with the June 24th 2007

As for the preceding editions, the living room was opened with the general public only Friday and the weekend, is June 22nd, 23rd and 24th.

This 47ème living room knew an multitude record with, in particular, more than 2000 exhibitors come from 42 countries, 153.920 professional visitors * and more than 400.000 entries very public the last three days. The manufacturers recorded important orders there, in particular Airbus with 425 definite sales.
* is 12% of more than in 2005.

In spite of not very lenient time, the demonstrations in flight could take place. One will note in particular the made performances certain days by a plane and a helicopter whose pilots proved that they had a perfect command of their apparatuses.

The Rafale , after a demonstration during which it carries out many changes of trajectory, finishes its flight by a passage in slow flight at low altitude with the top of the track, in the direction of the wind. In order to make a success of this slow flight, it adopts an attitude of flight very pulled up. This phase of flight requires to develop, in spite of its slowness, a very strong power. At the end of this slow flight, it practically goes up to the vertical, carries out a barrel in this position in order to position in the good senses for its landing vis-a-vis the public, then starts a half-buckles. When it is on the back, it reduces the engines, leaves the landing gear, finishes its half-buckles on the dash and is posed. It is rare to see this kind of apparatus being posed while planing at the exit of its boucle.
Il is prohibited, in Le Bourget, to voluntarily cut an engine in flight and, in addition, the water supply of the orders of flight must be maintained; however, during this phase, the engines without keep operating to give to the plane their usual push.

The Tigre is the only helicopter able to be maintained on the back, and it still proved it this year. Of course, it cannot fly a long time in this attitude which is possible thanks to an inversion of step of sound Rotor.

Also let us announce, for its second consecutive living room, the flight of the Airbus A380 which, contrary to that which evolved/moved in 2005, was been driven by engines Engine Alliance GP7200 which enabled him to make a demonstration during which the public was surprised low noise level of this plane.

And also, for its first presentation in flight, the Beautiful /Agusta BA609 , a convertible of the type “Tiltrotor”, with its mode of takeoff in helicopter and its mode switch-over plane thanks to a rotation of 90° of its two engines.
