International documentation and research center on the Celtic monachism
The International Center of Research and Documentation on the Celtic Monachism ( CIRDOMOC ), is an association created in 1986 following the conference of the fifteenth centenary of the foundation of the abbey of Landévennec (1985). The center brings together institutional researchers (universities and CNRS), independent students, researchers and local scholars who assigned for objective to study the Celtic monachism (in the broad sense) under his the most varied aspects (as well material as spiritual). The Center publishes its work in the series Britannia Monastica .
