International detective

international Détective ( International Detective ) is a British Televised series in 39 25 minutes episodes, black and white, diffused between the December 26th 1959 and the June 13rd 1961 on the network ITV. In France, the series was diffused starting from the July 16th 1967 on the first chain of ORTF.

Synopsis

Investigations of Franklin Ken, private Detective which works for the international agency of detectives of William J. Burns, based with New York. Its investigations take along Franklin to the four corners of the sphere: in the the Swiss Alps , in Australia, with Beirut, in Spain, with Honolulu, Los Angeles, Paris, Rome…

The televiewers never see the face of William J. Burns, the owner of the agency of detectives. Only the top of its head is visible as its hand when it gives its instructions to Ken Franklin, with the beginning of each episode of the series.
