International Transparency

Transparency International ( TI ) is a ONG fighting against the Corruption of the governments.

TI is organized in 80 national sections, with a central secretariat. In the beginning, TI was an ONG German then, while developing, it became an international organization.

She refutes the idea of a superiority of the States of North in the field of the fight against corruption and attempts all over the world to clarify the problems of corruption.

TI regularly publishes his world report on corruption.

However, the value of its index of corruption is called into question by some because it rests on surveys suffering, by definition, of the subjectivity of the questioned person.

TI was founded by Peter Eigen which chaired it until in 2005, year when Canadian the Huguette Labelle succeeds to him. Its French section is chaired by Daniel Lebègue.
