Soco International is a company of oil extraction and broking. It is chaired by Patrick Maugein, business man corrézien who was close to Jacques Chirac.

Trafigura

Trafigura is a company of oil Courtage implied in several politico-financial or environmental businesses, like the Affaire of the Probo-Koala which has occurred in September 2006.

In his book Chirac and the 40 liars (Albin Michel, 2006), the writer Jean Montaldo reveals that Trafigura control 50% of a company, Quantic, based with the the Bahamas, which would be a “eminent shareholder” of Soco International.
