International Socialist of the women

The Internationale Socialist of the women (STF) was created in 1907 like organization sister of the Internationale worker. She is associated today with the Internationale Socialist (IS), gathering the womens' organizations of the parties members of the IS.
History
The first conference of the International Socialist of the women took place the 17oût 1907 in Stuttgart. She establishes an international secretariat under the direction of Clara Zetkin, this conference adopts also the resolution on the vote of the women, which was the departure of an active campaign of the organizations Socialiste S of women, in the company, but also within their own parties. This resolution was reiterated at the time of the congress of the Internationale worker which followed.In 1910, the second conference of the STF, in Copenhagen in 1910 adopted the resolution of a international Journée of the Women fixed at March 8th of each year. It adopted also a resolution for Peace. At the time of the Conference of Basle of the International worker of 1912, Clara Zetkin made a speech ignited for the Peace and the need for the socialist women for fighting against the war which touches mainly wire of the Prolétariat.
After the beginning of the First World War, the activities of the STF knew a downtime, however, a conference was taken place with Bern in March 1915, it was the first international socialist conference besides since the beginning of the war (before the Conférence of Zimmerwald).
After the First World War, the STF knew division, following in that the remainder of the labor movement. In 1925, Edith Kemmis takes the head of the international secretariat, with the support of Friedrich Adler, secretary of the Internationale socialist worker.
The Second world war sees to crumble again the STF, already mined by the blows carried against the powerful German socialist parties and Austrian by the Nazis. Only an International Conference in 1941, on the initiative of the women of the British Labor made it possible to the socialist women to be made hear during the conflict.
In 1955, an International counsel of the social democrat women sets up itself, which in 1978 became the International Socialist of the women.
