International Romania radio

Radio International Romania (in Rumanian: Radio operator România Internaţional , or RRI ) is the radio station with international diffusion of the Romania. According to the law n°41/1994, Societatea Română de Radiodifuziune (S.R.R.) produced and diffuse of the programs in foreign languages for the outside of the country in order to promote the image of Romania like its interior policy and external. R.R.I depends on the Departamentul Radio România Internaţional (Department of the Rumanian international radio).

Diffusion

The station diffuses in 12 languages: Chinese, Arab, Rumanian, aroumain, French, Italian, German, Spanish, English, Serb, Russian and Ukrainian. It takes place in Short waves, by satellite and Internet. It is done by two channels:

RRI 1 : diffuse in Rumanian and aroumain, for the Rumanian expatriates.
RRI 2 : diffuse in the other languages.

Programs

Among the French headings are distinguished:

Pro Memoria: on the history of the Romania. Examples: The Holocaust in Romania (October 16th, 2006), the Rumanian revolution of December 1989 (December 18th, 2006).
Club businesses: economic heading. Examples: Road carriers and adhesion at the EU (October 24th, 2006), the automobile market in Romania (January 30th, 2007).
Company: devoted to the Rumanian company. Examples: Chinese workers in Romania (October 25th, 2006), the medical system in Romania: of the public to private (February 14th, 2007).
Challenge of the future: on the international prospects. Examples: Iraq after Saddam (January 19th, 2007), Romania and the geopolitics of the Black Sea (February 2nd, 2007).
Ground XXI: about nature. Examples: The natural park of Comana (August 28th, 2006), agriculture bio (December 29th, 2006).
Radio operator turn: on tourism. Examples: Tourism for the young people (August 28th, 2006), Voyage in Bucovine (February 9th, 2007).
