International Herald Platform
The International Herald Tribune is an American daily newspaper of English language whose seat is located in France. Created for Paris in 1887, it is in particular intended for American expatriates. It was called in the beginning the New York Herald Tribune and was the international edition of the New York Herald . Following the stop of the New Yorkean edition of the New York Herald in 1966, the international edition was taken again by the Washington Post and the NewYork Times which renamed it International Herald Tribune . It is printed today and read in 180 countries, that is to say the near total of the countries of the world.
Since 2003, the NewYork Times Company is the single shareholder of the International Herald Tribune . In December 2007, International Herald Tribune launches a free supplement for the Edition of the Weekend, the T which is devoted to the world of the Luxury.
