International Challenge Georges Marrane
The international Challenge Georges Marrane is an annual competition of male Handball created in 1975. The challenge initiated and organized by the US Ivry Handball, was formerly disputed exclusively with the Gymnase Auguste Delaune of Ivry-sur-Seine. Since 1987, the Challenge uses also the general sports Palais of Paris-Bercy or the Halle Carpentier (Paris) for its large posters and its final stages. Certain matches even took place with Beauvais, Dreux or Pontault-Combault at the time of the edition 2006.
The Challenge is opened to the teams of clubs and with the national selections.
