Interfluve

A interfluve is a Relief ranging between two Talweg S. It consists of Versant S, separated or not by a plane surface. The peak of interfluve indicates the line where the rainwater is divided interfluve The interfluves represent the major part of the terrestrial relief, since:
- the thalwegs have a relatively low width: the bed of a River fits in a thalweg;
- one calls very “interfluve” part of the terrestrial relief which is not a thalweg.
